EXCELLENCE IS A LIFESTYLE BY OJO SAMSON. T

Martin luther king jr said "If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the
hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say,'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well."
My meaning of excellence simply is, that whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do well; that whatever I have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself to completely; that in great aims and
in small, I have always been thoroughly in earnest.  From  this: excellence is not a choice, it’s a lifestyle.  Take heed from Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, “Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an action and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.”
Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way. In the land where excellence is commended, not envied, where weakness is aided, not mocked, there is no question as to how its inhabitants are all superhuman.



Here is my biblical illustration of the definition of EXCELLENCE " she stood alone in the category of saving an entire nation by her courage. Chosen to join the harem of a foreign King, she rises to the position of queen in a foreign land  in time to uncover a plot to destroy her people. She might have the power and influence to stop the plot, but only if she risks her own life to do so. The book that bears her name is unique in that God is not mentioned once in the book, but His fingerprints are all over the events. A powerful story that saved history started with her level of guts. Her name was ESTHER. What about  the long-haired strong man who picked up the jaw bone of a donkey and killed a thousand soldiers on the battlefield. If he were alive today, he would probably spend some of his life in jail–let’s just say he was no choir boy. But he had a job to do, and he did it well. SAMSON did at death more than he had done while a free man. His excellent story mixed with horror ended with is record breaking last appearance. Let me remind you about another excellent history,famous for being swallowed by the whale or “great fish,” JONAH real contribution is presiding over the greatest mass conversion of all time and learning a few things about human prejudice and God’s love at the same time, changed history. DANIEL, a prophet and a high government official. Captured as a young man and led in chains away from his homeland,into a strange land to serve with strange people,
Daniel was pressed into the service of a pagan king. Instead of crumbling, Daniel’s strength of character qualifies him to bring God’s light into a very dark place. Not to say he didn’t have his challenging moments. Ever hear of Daniel and the Lion’s Den? His story begins here. As a writing prophet, he joins other greats like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel who presented a clear picture of God’s power, His personality and His plans. . ELIJAH, the great prophet who stared down an
entire nation and didn’t blink.JOHN THE BAPTIST, was not a “BAPTIST” in the
modern sense of the word, but rather spokesman
who prepared a nation to meet Jesus by baptizing people to signify their readiness for a whole new life. Jesus said, “Among those born of women, there’s no one greater than John the Baptist.”  ENOCH, walk so upright with GOD, he say nothing like death. JOB!,PAUL became excellent when he had a undeniable encounter with the EXCELLENT.  These people had excellent lifestyles because they met with the excellent creator,excellent  lawgiver,excellent love, excellent justice and mercy,eternal excellence,he is family, he is an excellent healer,he an excellent multiple planner, he is an excellent future. He is definition of excellent, that's why excellent is who we are.Its hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world, but its worth carrying a 50kg hammer for.Excellence is a mindset and it begins with us telling ourselves that we give our all even if no one is telling us to, or somebody is watching over us. What we need to adopt is a personal compass where we make it a practice to constantly evaluate our actions and adjust if necessary.  Today I decide that excellence is my life style. Its who I am. And if there is anyone who thinks you are opposite, them him ' God doesn't need me to be qualified, he want me just the way I am. He doesn't want me perfect, he wants me to come with my old and rugged ways.".

You are EXCELLENT.
