DON'T QUIT : SOJI OLAKULEHIN.

Hmmm a writer with inspiration :

I'm a student,I don't get to assimilate as others do and my results are always bad,then it means I'm not fit for succeeding academically,I rather quit.
   I'm a worker,other workers gets to be more honored and promoted than I do,then this is not where I am destined to work,I rather quit.
   I'm a pastor,every other pastors tends to perform more miracles and gets more disciples and larger congregations than I do,even the young pastors in faith,then this cannot be my ministry,I rather quit.
   I'm a leader,my followers tends to do what I am not capable of doing and even attain positions I can't even imagine to be,then I'm not fit to be in this position as a leader,I rather quit.
   I'm a landlord, some of my tenants now gets to build houses of their own which are far better than mine,then why do I still need to harbor other tenants since they would also end up becoming more successful than I am,I rather send them out and stop being a landlord.
   I'm a christian,even the unbelievers get what they want at every point in time,enjoys all the pleasures of this world and sits in high positions I don't even dare hope to be,then I better deny my faith and also join the unbelievers to enjoy life.
   Then with all these,I get to understand that "to quit" is a product of four basic things and they are inferiority complex,loss of hope,lack of knowledge of the plan of God and excuses or the presence of an alternative.
1. INFERIORITY COMPLEX: When you think others are better than you or you can't get to where others have gotten to or you can't achieve what they have achieved in a particular group,congregation or organization,then you start to feel you are not fit to be in such a group because of your status.So you will feel like falling out of the race of becoming successful in that particular group.
2. LOSS OF HOPE: There is a saying that "seeing is believing". This is actually applicable in the concept of quitting because many tends to loose hope when they are not sure if they would receive a reward in the end or if their works will end up in success or if their efforts will be crowned.For example,a student who studies very hard to become somebody in life but not confident if he or she will really get a job.So they tend to quit striving enough to be successful by loosing hope of being rewarded in the end.
3. LACK OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PLAN OF GOD: Most times,people only think financial and academic successes are the only successes that exist or that one can ever achieve in life but they are mistaken because there are other successes apart from the above mentioned which can be seen in the lives of people like Jesus Christ,John the Baptist,Peter and some others.They are neither rich nor educated but their successes are so great that they are passed from one generation to the other.Once you can meet up with God's expectations,then you've succeeded.I don't want to emphasize more on this because it will cause a diversion into the concept of success but I will end this point with this,the plan of God for your life is the only success you can ever achieve in this life,any other thing apart from this,its nothing but a worldly pleasure or desire.
4. EXCUSES OR PRESENCE OF AN ALTERNATIVE: "For every procrastination or failure to perform a duty, there is an equal and opposite excuse".Just try to sit yourself down and think deeply anytime you fail to do a particular thing you've proposed to do initially and ask yourself,why didn't I do it?If you don't have any excuse,then it would only mean,you are unconscious during that period.Then,looking at it deeply,I understand that people only quit when they have enough reason which is an excuse to do so.Another similar thing is that,people quit in performing a specific duty when they see something which appear to be that thing and that can serve as an alternative to that thing.They think they would get the same result which is a pointless hope because a guava seed cannot yield a mango fruit and a mango seed cannot yield a guava fruit likewise.
   In addition,looking at the meaning of the word "quit" which means "to leave" or "to stop doing",one could easily figure out that,to quit is a deliberate action that follows  a conscious decision, so it's of great importance to take note of decision-making factor which must be carefully done or else one will regret for the rest of his or her life.
   In conclusion,the only way you can press on or continue in d race of success is for you to be able to overcome the challenges of the above stated factors because they won't give you or yield what you really desire but present something similar to it but of less value as the reward.Any group or organization you find yourself,always know you are not inferior but superior in another aspect,you are not hopeless but you just have to be patient,you are not a failure but you are yet to unravel God's plans for your life and finally you don't have any excuse to quit but you are lazy to continue.Lazarus in the bible is a short man but saw and met with Jesus while some tall men couldn't see the color of His dress.The thief on the right side of Jesus when he was crucified wasn't  anyway related to the gospel but he was the first person to secure a room in heaven.So always remember these,"your status does not determine your success","earnest desires creates connections" and "your attitude determines your altitude in life". So DON'T QUIT
